Our Story
Smiths Blade started in 2020 with a single kitchen knife, hand-forged and sold one piece at a time.
That first blade led to more, and by 2021 we'd grown enough to start shipping internationally, sending a growing range of hand-forged pieces to customers around the world. In 2023, we began taking on custom commissions building pieces to each customer's own specifications, from engraving to full custom builds. In 2026, we brought it all together under our own brand: Smiths Blade.

What We Stand For
Three principles guide every blade we craft and every relationship we build.
Every blade that leaves our shop is hand-forged, hand-finished, and checked before it ships. No shortcuts, no factory work dressed up as craftsmanship.
From that first kitchen knife in 2020 to customers across the globe today, we build for collectors, cooks, and everyday users who care where their blade came from.
Every piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, and every customer can request custom dimensions, engraving, or a build made entirely to their own spec.
The Smiths Way
From raw steel to finished piece, every step is done by hand.
Our Process
We select high-carbon steel suited to the piece, the same grade of material trusted by smiths for its edge retention and durability.
Each blade is shaped by hand at forge temperature, drawn out and profiled by our smiths not stamped or cast.
Every blade is heat-treated and hardened by hand to balance a durable spine with an edge that holds.
Hand-polishing, fitting of handles and guards, and a final inspection before the piece earns its Certificate of Authenticity.
