Vikings did not carry swords for show. They carried them because a fight was never far off.

This piece takes its shape from early medieval Scandinavian weapons and from the look of Robert Eggers' 2022 film The Northman. The grip runs brown and rugged, wrapped for a firm hold in a real fight. The fittings carry engraving, the kind a Viking smith might add to mark a blade as his own.

The blade itself is straight and double edged, cutting both ways. Down the center runs a wide fuller. That groove is not decoration. It pulls weight off the steel without pulling out strength, so the sword swings fast and still holds its edge under force.

That was the whole point of a Viking blade. Light enough to move quick. Strong enough to survive a real strike. This replica keeps both.

Own a sword built the way the old Norse warriors needed it built, for cutting hard and moving faster than the man across from you.

"Bought this as a gift and the recipient was absolutely blown away. The packaging alone felt like unboxing a museum piece. The certificate of authenticity is a wonderful touch."

"Gorgeous piece, exactly as pictured. Only minor note is the scabbard fit is slightly tight at first, but it loosens up with use. Overall extremely satisfied with my purchase."
