Zulfiqar Sword The Blade of Ali ibn Abi Talib

Zulfiqar carries deep weight in Islamic tradition. Some call it Dhu al Fiqar. Tradition holds that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ came to own this sword after the Battle of Badr. He later gave it to his cousin and son in law, Ali ibn Abi Talib, around the time of the Battle of Uhud in 625 CE.

From that point on, the sword and Ali's name grew tied together. People came to see it as a mark of his bravery. A mark of his strength. A mark of his justice and his devotion to his faith. The name Zulfiqar is often read as a reference to notches or grooves along the blade. Today most people picture it with a split tip, two points instead of one, though the true shape of the original sword was never confirmed with certainty. That split, forked design still shows up again and again in later swords and artwork made in tribute to Zulfiqar.

Own the Zulfiqar sword today. Hold the same design that stood beside one of Islamic history's most respected figures.

"Gorgeous piece, exactly as pictured. Only minor note is the scabbard fit is slightly tight at first, but it loosens up with use. Overall extremely satisfied with my purchase."
