The Barrow-blades, also called the Daggers of Westernesse, were forged by the Dúnedain of the North during the Third Age. They were enchanted with spells and runes to fight the forces of Angmar, especially the Witch-king.
The blades were buried in the Barrow-downs with the last prince of Cardolan. Centuries later, Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin were trapped there by a Barrow-wight. After Tom Bombadil rescued them, he recovered four blades from the tomb and gave one to each Hobbit.
Although designed as long daggers for Men, they served as full-sized swords for Hobbits. Merry’s blade later played an important role in breaking the Witch-king’s protection during the Battle of the Pelennor Fields.

"Bought this as a gift and the recipient was absolutely blown away. The packaging alone felt like unboxing a museum piece. The certificate of authenticity is a wonderful touch."
"Gorgeous piece, exactly as pictured. Only minor note is the scabbard fit is slightly tight at first, but it loosens up with use. Overall extremely satisfied with my purchase."
