Legolas Sword fighting knives were created for Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings films as part of his Elven warrior equipment. He carries one knife on each side of his quiver and uses them when enemies come too close for his bow.
Their lightweight, curved design allows Legolas to fight quickly and acrobatically while wielding both blades at the same time. The knives feature decorative Elven vine patterns and golden runic engravings, reflecting the craftsmanship of the Woodland Realm.
In The Hobbit trilogy, Legolas also uses similar Elven short swords during close-range battles. Although the knives became an iconic part of his character in the films, they are not described in detail as named weapons in Tolkien’s original books.
